Layer combines fragments of colour, texture, and linework over a deep glossy black base. Turquoise and muted burgundy forms overlap with fine metallic details and distressed graphic elements, creating a composition that feels somewhere between torn posters, abstract painting, and mixed-media collage. Rather than repeating one perfect pattern, every nail carries a slightly different arrangement. Together, they form one continuous visual language: messy in detail, considered as a whole. The glossy black background gives the colours depth, while the layered artwork creates the feeling of something worn, rebuilt, covered and uncovered again.
